For this first year, Meralco will introduce the Meralco Spark Prize for work that sparks creativity, innovation, and embodies the company's commitment to social responsibility and sustainability. The awardee will be personally chosen by none other than the company's President & CEO, Atty. Ray C. Espinosa.

And as the company aims to give this country an even brighter future year in and year out, it is their hope that the first and, possibly, succeeding Meralco Spark Prizes will likewise pave the way for a brighter and sustainable future for the arts.
